Yes, there is hope

Nate Phelps is the son of Fred Phelps, of Westboro Baptist Church (the one that boycotts military funerals thanking their god for killing military men from their own country and somehow tie that to gays – don’t ask me to explain, I’m merely quoting).

Nate Phelps is an outspoken atheist and LGBT advocate. As far as his writing goes, he is a very intelligent and compassionate man.

How he got from there to here? Some of it at: www.huffingtonpost.com/nate-phelps/westboro-baptist-church_b_1420769.html

(Incidentally, the HuffPo mentions a study that indicates that homophobia is, at least in some cases, really phobia: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/09/homophobia-homosexuality-gay_n_1412846.html?ref=science)
