A complement to “learning the right lessons”

I Just posted a few references that dealt with the economy meltdown and its causes.

Along the same lines, a look into the ideology that makes it all possible:
Ayn Rand and the Sociopathic Society or ‘How I Learned to Stop Loving My Neighbor and Despise Them Instead.’

A short summary: “Take any conservative position on a social or economic issue and boil away all the rhetoric and what you are left with is ‘I got mine, screw you.'”

(Or, according to my friend Ralph, who put it even more concisely, years ago: Randism can be summarized as ‘it’s mine, you can’t have it’)
