RSAnimate talks

The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (or RSA) has a YouTube channel with a number of interesting talks, using a clever way to present them, pairing audio with a sort of stop-motion-like quasi-animation of an artist sketching on a whiteboard little schemas and cartoons that conve the ideas being spoken. I’ve listened to 3 or 4 of them (the one I enjoyed most until now was Barbara Eichenreich’s “Smile or Die”), but it is worth checking the whole collection…

(A PS: two reasons I particularly liked that talk – (a) she makes a quick but accurate quip about how quantum mechanics is – wrongly – recruited to justify all sorts of woo talk and (b) the thorough bashing of the idiocy around that “Secret” book)
